Abstract des Autors
In Turkey 50% of the population is working. 70% of them are men who work in highly stressful environment and prolonged in comparison with the average working time in Europe. According to some researches cited in the article, work and working environment are the main reasons for distress causing a serious harmful effect on human health. The present article aims the evaluation of time distribution in terms of work-recreation in order to be evaluated the health risks for Turkish working men. The results from the study show that the recreation time is relatively low especially in terms of active recreation. This is an alarming fact which requires further active measures to be taken.
