Abstract des Autors

Whether or not jumpers understand the behaviors of mechanical forces can determine the quality of their jumps. The mechanical forces are as follows: gravity, friction, and centrifugal, aerodynamic, and reaction forces of body motion. On the in-run, the faster a jumper travels, the larger the advantage for the jump performance he/she will obtain. So, it is very important in keeping body balance to place the mass center of the body in the optimal position. This is because sliding speed varies in accordance with the position of the center of mass of the body. Therefore, it is crucial to know the status of body position during the slide. The changes in body motion can be observed by utilizing an accelerometer. The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence on the performance of force generation during the in-run slide in the context of three different jump hills.
