Abstract des Autors

The theoretical study focuses on the biomechanical analysis of physical forces acting during ski turning. The authors pay an attention to the integration of gravity which is acting parallelly to the slope into the complex of underlying physical forces. The outcome of this analysis is a definition of two phases of ski turn on the basis of
exact physical criteria. New theoretical findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the changes of the weight distribution on skis, especially at the start of the turn. The model of the division of the turn can be the starting point for an exact analysis of the implementation of this important element for the purpose of research, improving its implementation techniques in the racing skiing and in teaching ski turning.
