Abstract des Autors
In children with funnel chest impairment of somatic as well as physical fitness development is usually suspected. In the reported study the body build and fitness of children with funnel chest were compared with those of healthy peers. The study was carried out at the Division of Therapeutic Rehabilitation, Mother and Child Institute in Warsaw. It was shown that chest deformity affected more negatively body build than physical fitness. Verf.-Referat
