Abstract des Autors
34 patients with coronary heart disease who regularly trained 1,5 times per week for 2 hours were evaluated after 1, 2,5, 4,5 and 6,5 (n = 20) years for symptom-limited work capacity and loading tolerance. After 1 year the aerobic turnover and cardiac loading borderline were 10% higher than initially. In the following years spiroergometric bicycle tests showed that parameters had stabilised on a higher level. We found no change in the initially more demanding treadmill tests. This may be due to an age-linked decreasing muscular performance and/or a progression of the patient's coronary disease. A change in cardiac volume was not recorded. Verf.-Referat
