Abstract des Autors
As highlighted in the previous section of this text, expert sport performance is characterized by a variety of skills and abilities; however, a question asked by many athletes, coaches, parents, sports fans, and sport scientists is: how did these athletes become so great? While the process of expertise development will be explored in detail in other areas of this text, it is important to consider and acknowledge methodological issues in the collection of athlete developmental history information.
