Abstract
As the quest for Paralympic medals becomes more competitive, so does the drive to identify and develop medallists of the future. The aim of this paper is not to provide a review or critique of talent literature, but to share some of the lessons learned during recent Paralympic talent identification (TID) and talent development (TD) work in Great Britain in the build up to the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
