Abstract des Autors

Based on the analysis of elite dancers' competitive activity, high requirements are imposed to the work of their cardiorespiratory system, stipulating for the necessity of assessment of the indices of the dancers' cardiorespiratory system at different training stages. Athletes' exercise performance and its state is determined by the cardiorespiratory system, for the competitive program in dance sport is mostly aerobic and depends on functioning of the system of oxygen transport system (J.H. Wilmore). Maximum oxygen consumption is the most informative cardiorespiratory index for athletes. There exist the rating scales of maximum oxygen consumption for those not going in for sport, for athletes of different specializations, age and gender. The treadmill test with graduated running load is most frequently used to estimate exercise performance of athletes in different sports. It promotes measuring a wide range of respiratory indices. There exist standard indices of the obtained results for every sport, but the lack of the rating scale of indices in this test for dance sport makes it difficult to estimate the level of development of dancers' aerobic abilities, since the values of the obtained results compared with the average values in other sports are not reliable. The worked rating scale of results of estimation of cardiorespiratory indices: maximum oxygen consumption and volume of air expired, will promote estimation of the athlete's state at different training phases.
