Abstract des Autors

The topic “Personality of P.E. teacher” was investigated since 60ies in the last century. With pioneering of prof. Bohuslav Hodaň (Olomouc), later prof. Bohumil Svoboda (Prague) the topic was developed. The results were presented in numerous conferences. The research orientation was influenced with politico – economy and social changes: description of personality traits, fitness and skills requests, social role, didactic competencies, interpersonal relation, perception of professional dimensions (further H. Valkova). The social request influenced diversification of primary P.E. profession like specialist for leisure time education, specialist in adapted physical activity, etc. Key points of the development the topic “from P.E. teacher to APA professional” are 25 underlined, main research results, publications as so as good examples in practice. Cooperation among P.E. Faculty in Prague, Faculty of Physical Culture in Olomouc and P.E. departments of pedagogical faculties in Czech Republic is underlined. Idea of importance of personality of P.E. teacher of prof. Hodan was the first. Prof. Hodan opened the door with issue “Personality of P.E. teacher”, specially – for research of several generation, – for wider spectrum of assessment of P.E. teaching phenomena, – for completing and using former research achievements, for challenge in future. The continuous „red line“ of “Personality of P.E. teacher” soaked through more than 40 years research development and influenced education curricula and real P.E. teachers.
