Abstract des Autors

Diagnostics of functional requirements is an essentials part of complex testing in triathlon both for talented athletes’ selection and for assessing of the fitness level and performance. The result of our study was establishing of standards for triathlon junior athletes (male n = 55 and female n = 16) aged 17–19 in three parameters
VO2max, % VO2max at Anaerobic Threshold (AT) and pulmonary ventilation (V). With respect to the group homogeneity and practical experience, we developed standards for the range of ±2 SD. The value of 70 T-points indicates an excellent level, while 30 T-points insufficient level. In the maximal aerobic performance test (VO2max), an excellent value in junior male is above 81.6 ml.min–1.kg–1, while the insufficient value is lower than 59.6 ml.min–1.kg–1. Values above 77.1 ml.min–1.kg–1 in junior female are considered as excelent and lower than 53.9 ml.min–1.kg–1 as insufficient. In % VO2max at AT test, an excellent value for junior male is above 86.9%, while insufficient value is lower than 78.5%. In junior female, values above 86.8% are regarded as excellent, on the contrary, values lower than 77.6% are regarded as insufficient. In pulmonary ventilation test, an excellent value for junior male is above 170.3 l and insufficient value is lower than 115.1 l. In junior female, values above 143.0 l are considered as excellent while values lower than 92.6 l as insufficient. Verf.-Referat
