Abstract des Autors
The authors present the analysis of three classifications of 21st Winter Olympic Games – medal, medal-point and point. The aim of analysis is, among others, unveiling the structure of classification line-up which was established as a result of achievements of nations-participants of Olympic rivalry. The comparison of the presented analysis and that made four years ago (20th Winter Olympic Games, Turin) makes the background for changes in winter sports line-up changes in the world, presented by authors. The comparative analysis has been also made for the national teams placed 1-10 in three sport disciplines: skiing, biathlon and skating. Third element of the study is evaluation of Polish team achievements and assessment of its place in winter sports in the world. Verf.-Referat
