Abstract des Autors

The place of a given national team in Olympic classification is greatly influenced
by biathlon and skiing (ski runs and other ski disciplines), as well as skating results.
Author compared the results of biathlon and ski runs (males and females) at Winter
Olympic Games in 2010 in Vancouver and in 2006 in Turin. This comparison led to
reflections on changes of places among world leaders and accuracy of prognosis
made by author prior to 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Verf.-Referat
