Shooting from support position is most often used by building up players (liaisons and setters). It is performed from frontal and side position. In our case the technique under study is performed from side position together with a jumping move. In that way the separate units of the cinematic chain handball player - ball perform a longer path and greater power of throwing the ball is achieved. We have studied the shooting from a rear crossed move position of a highly qualified handball player. The registration of the move was made by two standard video cameras (of 25 k/s motion). The data have been processes by the author's video-computer system. The movement was divided into four phases in view of the teaching methodology. The internal-phase structure of the moves, the speed of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, fingers, and ball are analyzed as well as the change of the acceleration. Concrete conclusions related to the separate phases and recommendations for the sports practice are made. Verf.-Referat
