Modern Athlete and Coach published in the Vol. 27, No. 2, April 1999 issue an article by Fotis Katsikas titled "Teach Pole Vaulting Using the Angular Pole". In this article the author described specially constructed fixed single and double angled poles used for teaching beginners. This publication presents a photo of the angular pole, showing it is constructed from pieces of broken poles and attached to a metal base that is fixed to the ground. Verf.-Referat
