Abstract des Autors
This paper deals with the question about the influence of orthopaedic diseases on the golfswing. Starting with the shoulder joint typical orthopaedic problems like rotator cuff lesions were discussed followed by the elbow joint and the wrist joint. Furthermore, orthopaedic diseases-of the lower extremity were discussed and the possibility to play golf without exacerbating previous orthopaedic diseases.
