Abstract des Autors
Three cases of fracture of the outer third of the clavicle associated with an ipsilateral acromio-clavicular joint disruption are presented. This injury has been considered to be rare. It can usually be treated conservatively with a careful follow-up. However, surgical intervention may be required in some cases. The biomechanical nature of this combined injury appears to be different from clavicular fracture and acromio-clavicular joint disruption alone. Because of this, the injury must be managed as a distinctly separate problem from either of the injuries in isolation. This lesion might be more common than previously thought. Verf.-Referat
