Lactic acid concentration (), heart rate (HR), and oxygen consumption (VO2) were measured at the end of each workload. Despite identical maximum values for HR, and VO2 under both conditions the maximum working capacity displayed on the ergometer was significantly different (324 +/- 33,2 W on the GJE and 362,5 +/- 45 W on the CON (p<0,01)). Significant differences were found in submaximum workloads. At 200 and 300 W resp. the values for HR, and VO2 were higher in GJE compared with CON (p<0,01). As regards the biomechanical and biological examination, further research is needed. Verf.-Referat SN - 3769103084 SP - 1994. S. 195-196, Lit. BT - Regulations- und Repairmechanismen : 33.
