Abstract des Autors

The selection of children for the remedial physical education by the school medical officer has not proved successful, because there are mainly considered morphological and rarely the school-relevant motor aspects. On the other hand, the school cannot meet to the expectation of the physicians as regards therapeutic effects. A newly developed economic method of "Determination of the Motor Capacity" (DMC) is proposed. Considerating sex, age, and size of the body surface the children are classified into those deserving motor promotion and those with normal or good motor faculties. Usually about 30% of the children are rated as to have a low motor capacity. These should be presented to the physician to clarify the causes and to initiate further means. Verf.-Referat
