Abstract des Autors

Ten middle distance runners participated in two graded treadmill tests. One test was performed with the initial speed set at 2.5 m/s. The running velocity was increased 0.5 m/s every 3 min. The other test was employed on the knowledge furnished by Conconi. The speed was increased every 200 m, so as the running time over 200 m was shortened by 2 or 3 sec each time. The Conconi anaerobic threshold was determined on the method furnished by the authors and it corresponded for the 10 athletes to speed values between 4.02-4.75 m/s. No significant correlation was found between Conconi threshold and lactate thresholds of 4 mmol/l by Mader (r = 0.53), the individual threshold by Keul (r = 0.27), and by the load value which corresponds at the 3.5 mmol/l (r = 0.59). Furthermore, there were sometimes big differences if the threshold by Conconi was examined by different reviewers. Verf.-Referat
