Abstract des Autors
The changes of taurine concentration in myocardium after swimming training, and the effect of taurine on the serum emzymes (LDH, GOT & CPK) after acute exercise were observed to investigate the metabolism and biological actions of taurine. The results showed that 1. Taurine concentration in myocardium after swimming training increased significantly compared with the control group. 2. The serum enzymes in rats without taurine administration immediately after exercise and 16 hrs after exercise increased significantly compared with the control group; in the taurine administered rats, the serum enzymes in the exercise group increased significantly immediately after exercise compared with the control group, but at 16 hrs after exercise there was no significant difference between the two groups. These results suggest that the increased taurine in the myocardium after exercise training may have protective effect on the myocardium membranes. Verf.-Referat
