Abstract des Autors
Computer posturography was used to verify the assessment of static body balance by conventional methods. A group of 51 students were subjected to three trials (options) which served to constract statokinesiograms and stabilograms. Three principal parameters of the former were discerned - mean radius (MR), sway area (SA) and total length (TL), 5 parameters of the right-left stabilogram - length of deflection line (LD), mean velocity (MS), number of deflections (ND), maximal deflection right (MDr) and left (MDl), and 5 parameters of the backward-forward stabilogram - LD, MS, ND, Maximal deflection backward (MDb) and forward (MDf). As compared with the position in which the sight was engaged (by feedback), or with the so-called flamingo position, the normal position proved the most stable. The values of variables recorded in the last two positions were not correlated with each other. Separate analyses of individual parameters of stabilograms and statokinesiolograms have been recommended, as the correlations between them were moderate, though significant. Measurements carried out on 18 subjects by the test-retest design indicated the need to increase the reliability of those measurements. Verf.-Referat
