Exercise plays an important role in health, and this article provides the advice youll need to get your patients started. Most of the preprogram physical and history canbe incorporated into a routine office visit, but some patients may also need an exercise ECG. Many people prefer a casual exercise program, but those who want a formal program need an exercise prescription that takes into account type, intensity, duration, frequency, and progression of exercise - and that will be fun enough to keep the patient motivated.
