Abstract des Autors
Dynamic stress-echocardiography was performed with 103 unselected patients of a cardiac rehabilitation clinic; combining both supine (rest and post exercise) and half-sitting position under continuous echomonitoring (rest and peak exercise). The success rate to detect or exclude ischemia was 90% in good correlation to thallium SPECT (67% sensitivity and 92% specifity in stenoses <70%, 84% sensitivity and 96% specifity in stenoses >70%). We reached 79% (81 of 103) adequate cineloops during exercise and could therefore define - in contrast to thallium SPECT - the threshold of ischaemia with or without antianginal medication for individual stationary and outpatient training programs especially when exercise ECG was dubious.
