Abstract
The present situation and features of group education in school sport in Japan were introduced and compared with those in China, with the aim of giving rise to a study of this issue. Group education in physical education can be conducted in not only the ideological and moral development of students, but in any fields of teaching process. Sociologically speaking, taking the organization of group education as a teaching guideline and giving play of its function in teaching practice will probably bring enlightenment into the reforms of education and school sport in China.
