Abstract
The psychological attitude of various social groups toward professionalization of competitive sports in China was investigated with outcomes showing that the society as a whole held a positive attitude toward the professionalization of competitive sports and most people could understand and express their support to it although it was also true that people from different social groups possessed different opinions.
