Abstract
The professionalized competitive sport system is a kind of sociol sport system based on profit-making, which is in its nature an activity of commercialism. The essential social conditions for the emergence and existance of professionalized competitive sport system are as follows: the highly developed social commodity economy; the extensive application of the law of value in commodity economy to competitive sport; and the development of competitive sport to a stage of commercialization.
