Abstract
The author of this paper puts forward his own views on Bi Shimings article about the integration of sports and politics. He maintains that integration means that the two things are related to each other and does not imply that they combine into one. There was no such relationship in the primitive society in which neither politics nor sports in the perfect sense of the word existed. The development of world sports in the last century, in his opinion, has been determined by force of their own movement, and the newly emerging, progressive political forces do not always play a positive role.
