Abstract des Autors

Twelve elite and healthy young divers underwent Tomars Tutokos psychological training, during which their respiration rate were slowed down and EEG were recorded. The effects of such psychological training were evaluted with the changes in EEG spectrum. Results showed that there was an obvious decrease in energy output in slow wave band EEG spectrum during slowing respiration induced by the psychological training, although there existed differences among individuals. Compared with the resting state, the energy output of the delta wave band was obviously reduced with the psychologically induced slowing rate of repsiration, and that in the left occipital region was more significant than that in the right (P < 0.001). The energy output of the theta wave band was also decreased, with that in the right occipital region more significant than that in the left (P < 0.001). In conclusion, the slowing rate of respiration by psychological adjustment can produce effective influence to the relaxation of athletes.
