Abstract
A brief account of the way baseball is played is followed by the observation that shoulder lesions in this game are encountered in pitchers, and display certain particular features. A distinction is drawn between the four stages of the pitching action, and the physiology and possible lesions associated with each stage are discussed. Verf.-Referat
