N2 - The different response to maximal discontinuous work load at the ergometer bicycle (4 minutes work followed by 20 minutes rest, the cycle being repeated five times) has been experimented in 6 healthy young males aged between 18 and23 under three different conditions: fasting, after 100 g of glucose, after 100 g of G 1000. The latter is a dietetic product consisting of a pool of saccarides of varying molecular weight presupposing fractionated absorption ofglucose. The experimental module was repeated for each subject under the threegroups, on a random basis, and the succession of tests for the three groups was also left to chance. The double blind method was used. The following parameters were studied: respiratory frequency, current volume and lung ventilation, oxygen consumption and V/V02 calculation, oxygen pulse and V02/kg, VC02 and Q.R., heart rate. Glycemia, lactacidaemia and NEFA were also measured at rest, at the 3rd minute of intermediate recovery phases, and at the 3rd, 10th,30th and 60th minutes of the final recovery stage. The results are reported. Verf.-Referat
