Abstract
The anthropometric data of top-rank male and female sprinters disclosed, onthe one hand, mostly non-significant differences from the athletes of theneighbouring countries and, on the other hand, the differences between the twosexes. There are not any significant differences in regard of the height-related muscularity of the whole body, in the muscularity of the thighs or inthe ratio of calf length over calf circumference between the male and thefemale sprinters.
