Abstract des Autors

22 subjects performed exercise stress tests according to the subsequent protocols. 4 rectangular-triangular tests with varying increase of work load (50 Watt/2 min, 50 Watt/3 min, 25 Watt/2 min, 30 Watt/5 min) and 5 rectangular tests over 30 minutes with work loads, in order to evaluate the maximal lactate steady state. The main results are as follows: 1) The average max. lactate steady state was 4.3 mmol/l (+/- 1.1, min = 2.9, max. = a6.8). 2) In 23 steady state lactate curves the lactate-time relation could be described by a first order transfer function. Time constant T was correlating positively with lactate steady state. A value of 4 mmol/l corresponded to 3 min, respectively 2 mmol/l 2 min. 3) In the triangular test the lactate work load relation resulted in a shift to higher loads for a steeper increase of load intensity, e.g. a longer work on the same intensity leads to higher lactate. By this reason the anaerobic threshold, as calculated by the different methods of MADER, KEUL, STEGMANN or BUNC depended ont he steepness of work load increase. Verf.-Referat
