Abstract
The popularity of ice hockey in Italy has grown considerably over recent years. We have analyzed the injuries during the 89-90 season in a team playing in the Italian first division. After having analyzed the gathered data we see that there is not a main hockey injury but, the region of the human body with the highest number of unjuries is the head. Even if the number of more serious injuries is rather high, it is always lower than in other contact sports. Verf.-Referat
