Abstract

The schedules and operative times of early rehabilitation after acute myocardial infarction are discussed. The study includes 173 cases of male patients with acute transmural myocardial infarction undergoing controlled rehabilitation by Centro Medico di Riabilitazione di Montescano with spiroergometric evaluation in both initial and final phases and subsequent follow-up at 3-6-12months after discharge. The course of some physiological parameters (TW., HR.,V02, AP.) has been examined during controlled rehabilitation and the followup, together with clinical parameters, such as mortality, overall complications, smoking habits, compliance to the training program and return to work in the year following discharge. The results suggest usefulness of controlled rehabilitation and satisfactory compliance to training in the follow-up. Verf.-Referat
