Abstract
Histologic changes induced in the Achilles tendon of young rabbits by electrical Stimulation of the gastrocnemius for periods ranging from 30 to 180 days been studied. in the most of the examined tendons, stretching of the tendon fibres the ore marked the longer was the treatment has been found. In two animals,on the contrary, progressive changes were observed. Also the results of the histochemical study was not iniform. on the basis of the results obtained the effect of the functional overcharge on tendon tissue is discussed. Verf.-Referat
