Abstract
The technique consists of bringing together the tendon ends by means of two thick axial threads, wrapping the plantarius muscle tendon around the threads and closing the gap with a tendinous graft obtained from the proximal end. From 1960 till now, we have operated 38 cases with this technique. The follow up study is based on 26 cases reviewed after 2-19 years. The injury mechanism and the macroscopical, histo-pathological and micro-angiographical pictures are presented. Verf.-Referat
