Zusammenfassung

Introduction. Practicing physical activities under the form of sports games leads to motor qualities development and health condition improvement, since movement coordination and correct posture are directly involved in the basketball game. Purpose. The aim of this paper work is to bring to focus the importance of using a complex training program which should contain, along with specific exercises, elements which do not belong to the game of basketball, including postural elements which should lead to movement coordination improvement. Means. 12 children participated in the study, aged between 14 and 18, divided into 2 lots. The study was carried out over a period of time of two months, the experimental lot having, besides the regular training program, a supplementary hour after one of the three weekly trainings, during which there were performed exercises for coordination improvement, stretching and a global postural reeducation exercises after the Souchard method. Conclusions. The unilateral use in training of exercises specific to the game of basketball led to progress regarding movement coordination, but the inclusion of certain global postural reeducation elements, along with coordination means, not specific to basketball, improved this motor quality to a greater extent.
