Abstract des Autors
In specific stages of a woman’s life, such as pregnancy or menopause, there are serious somatic and psychological changes that also play a major role for women in connection with sports. Sports during pregnancy used to be a highly controversial topic, as it was thought that physical activity would generally harm the unborn child. Today, it is known that a moderate individually adapted training can even have a positive effect on the pregnancy. The changes or adaptation processes that are associated with pregnancy already represent a high load on the body. Therefore, depending on preload and preference an individually adapted sports training is recommended. High-performance sports are discouraged due to the enormous burden and the high risk of injury associated herewith. Sports in the peri-menopause or post-menopause help to endure climacteric symptoms better or as a concomitant support therapy.
