Der Beitrag rekonstruiert die Gründe für die Wahl einer Nationalmannschaft aus der Perspektive junger Spieler mit Migrationshintergrund und klärt, wie die Verbundenheit mit einem Land mit der Wahl der Nationalmannschaft zusammenhängt. Die Datengrundlage liefert eine Studie, im Rahmen derer leitfadengestützte Experteninterviews und biografische Mappings mit aktuellen und ehemaligen Junioren-Nationalspielern mit türkischem Migrationshintergrund durchgeführt wurden.

Abstract des Autors

In this article, the reasons for choosing a national team from the perspective of young football players with a migration background are outlined. The focus is on the question of how the choice of a national team is related to the solidarity with a certain country. The data basis is provided by a study in which guided expert interviews and biographical mappings were carried out with current and former junior national players with a Turkish migration background.
