It proves that the club's infrastructure could be a key factor for generation of a revenue for the football club and providing an achievement of a sustainable financial success in a long term prospect. The article examines the cost of building the stadium, its capacity, the different types of ownership of an infrastructure and its location. An emphasis is put on the various options for financing the construction of a stadium and the subsequent commercial activities of the club which would have a return on investment. As a positive example is seen B FUTURA project of the participants in Italian Serie B. It aims to complete the renovation of the infrastructure of 22 football organizations. Such an initiative is very suitable for the situation in which Bulgarian professional football clubs work.
