Abstract des Autors
Abstract des Autors
A 32 year-old internationally successful female formation dancer with chronic pain in her right shoulder joint is presented. Primary shoulder hyperlaxity with secondary dorso-cranial impingement as well as secondary sub-acromial impingement is diagnosed resulting from a sport-specific overuse of the right shoulder. In addition, a shelf-like locally irritating cord-shaped induration at the insertion of the long head of biceps tendon is found. After an arthroscopic resection of the shelf-like structure, a synovectomy as well as a subacromial bursectomy, a resilience free of pain and the capability to resume sports activities could rapidly be achieved through additional musculo-coordinative stabilization.
