The processes of self-esteem and self-actualization lay the basis of self-realization associated with teen age. Taking part in the game teenagers initially want to be stronger, more effective, clever, successful, then be the best in the team, respect themselves, be confident of their power and abilities, reflecting the need and motive to self-esteem. But if this motive becomes dominating athlete is characterized by excessive orientation to estimation of sports results facilitating personal prestige motivation and is specific mainly for "individualists". The purpose of the research was to determine the structure and contents of the process of personal self-realization of teenaged footballer in game sport activity. The comparison of three groups participating in the experiment resulted in the conclusion that the football team members (group 1) differ by purposefulness, more persistent and independent. With extraversion combined with hypertemic accentuation of personality traits teenaged footballers are more sociable, active, optimistic, capable of cooperation, that corresponds to the requirements of game sports activity. However in work with them attention should be paid to such personal features as too hot temper, impatience, occasional indiscretion in actions, requiring additional self-regulation classes. All in all inherited capacities and acquired skills, character features formed within football occupations are a good basis for personal self-realization in selected profession. Verf.-Referat
