abstract	Článek se věnuje možnostem hodnocení držení těla dětí ve věku 4 až 8 let v rámci předškolního a školního vzdělávání. Je určen všem, kdo pracují s dětmi nebo se na práci s dětmi připravují. Mírná odchylka motorického vývoje v dětském věku, mnohdy pouze menší kvalita provedení pohybu či držení těla, může vést k bolestivým stavům pohybového system, a to nejen v dospělosti, ale čím dál častěji také u dětí školního věku. Dítě v předškolním věku a v prvních ročnících školního vzdělávání má již k dispozici všechny svalové souhry řídící polohu těla. Ty ale nejsou ještě fixované. Jde tedy o výhodnou dobu k zásahu. Cílem statě je upozornit na možnosti hodnocení kvality těchto souher v různých polohách motorické ontogeneze a jejich včasné pozitivní ovlivnění s cílem zkvalitnění celkového držení těla. Je popsáno, jak vypadá opora a fázický pohyb končetin v tzv. centrovaném postavení. To je takové postavení, kdy není přítomna svalová dysbalance. Je tedy z hlediska kvality ideální. Na obrázcích jsou popsány nejčastější odchylky od ideálního provedení u předškolních dětí. Verf.-Referat The article describes possibilities of assessment of the posture in children aged 4–8 years attending pre-school and school education. It is dedicated to those who work with children or are preparing for it. Small abnormality in motor development in children, often just lower quality of movements and body posture, can lead to musculoskeletal pain dysfunctions not just in adults but more and more often in young children too. All posture stabilization muscle functions are already available for preschool and elementary school children. However, they are not fixed. It is a unique time to intervene. The following paragraphs suggest assessment of motor abilities of preschool children. Special emphasis is given on evaluating quality of movement and posture. The paper describes assessment posibilities of the quality of posture stabilization using human motor developmental postures and emphasizes the importance of prevention and pedagogical intervention to reach better overall body posture. It ex-plaines how the support and phasic movement of the extremities looks like in the centered position. The centered position is the position, where there are no muscle dysbalances and it is ideal in terms of quality of movement. The most common abnormalities from the ideal pattern are described in the pictures. Verf.-Referat
