Connections between some motor abilities with the results of the school success in young basketball players

Abstract des Autors
This study was conducted to determine the relationships between motor variables, variables of success from general subjects and from physical education. The subject sample consisted of 25 students basketball players (total 75), and students basketballs aged 11, 12 and 13 ± 06 years, in addition to regular physical education classes at least one year deal with basketball in the school section. 10 tests used to assess motor skills and two tests to evaluate the success of the general case and Physical Education (1-5). Pearson correlation matrix was used to measure the correlation between the manifest space between motor variables and the variable success in the general case and physical education in all investigated groups. The correlation results show that the student players ages 11 ± 06 years found a close correlation between the variables of coordination and loss of general subjects and a correlation between success in the subject of physical education and almost all the variables of motor skills.
