Abstract

In the design and development of measuring units in elite sport the request for high objectivity, reliability and validity of the results creates high requirements for the construction of the specific devices which usually are not covered by commercially available systems. But only a sufficiently exact simulation of the competition conditions enables the researcher to evaluate the results with respect to the performance prerequisites of the sport in question and the actual training state resp. athletic shape of the athlete. This refers to the sport specific movement patterns as well as to the robustness caused by the interaction between athlete and measuring unit. The paper presents solutions of selected measuring units. Verf.-Referat
