Abstract des Autors
The planning and controlling of training is influenced by the knowledge about the connection between performance determining factors (PDFs) and the sport performance itself. PDFs can be determined by experience, with different statistical methods or/and appropriate modelling. If the connection between sport performance and PDFs can be expressed in mathematical terms, the planning and controlling of training will be particularly effective. In this article a method is shown which helps to find the most important PDFs and enables to determine them individually. With simulations it is possible to study the influence of real or fictitious changes of the PDFs. This allows to estimate the individual reserves of single PDFs for the future development of the sport performance. It is shown that performance effects due to a change of one PDF depend on the quantities of all other PDFs. Therefore, a change of one PDF leads to individual changes in sport performance. If someone wants to reach a specific sport performance, the model will allow to calculate the needed quantities of the PDFs to reach it. Verf.-Referat
