Abstract

The aim of the conducted study was to identify the level of motor performance of pupils at practical elementary schools in Prague in relation to their degree of intellectual disability. A UNIFITTEST (6-60) test battery was used to assess the level of motor performance with regard to fitness; a flexibility test was used as a complement to the UNIFITTEST. From the point of view of the average values of motor performance, a direct correlation with the degree of intellectual disability can be observed - the former decreased as the latter increased. However, the best test score was surprisingly achieved by pupils with a slightly below-average intellect and not by pupils with the highest level of intellectual abilities. Verf.-Referat
