Abstract
The man-hammer rotational system is examined through its dynamic and kinematics aspects. Dynamic equations are derived from which it is possible to calculate forces and energy requirements for the launching of the implement. The maximization of performance is examined through parametric variables such as arm length and height of the thrower. Finally, the body configuration of the thrower is examined, in particular the angle of lean, through the various rotations undergone prior to the release of the hammer. Derived equations and generated family of curves will allow for precise analysis and description of the thrower's action. Zusammenfassung
