Abstract

The purpose of the work was to verify the reliability and errors of dynamic balance parameters measurement. For the dynamic balance diagnosis, the FiTRO Sway Check stabilographic system was used, comprising a dynamometric board producing random movements in backward -forward and side-to-side directions and a special program. The speed of the centre of gravity´s movement was registered in the series of six thirty-second repeated trials in a group af 17 FTVS UK students. The analysis of repeated measurement results has not shown any statistically significant differences between individual trials. Reliability and accuracy of measurements of the centre of gravity´s movement spped, expressed by correlation coefficient r = 0,840 and measurement error 8,9 %, is comparable to the used motor tests. At the same time, the average of two 30-second trials has appeared as the most objective criterion for posture stability assessment. Verf.-Referat
