Abstract

Das Thema Sport und Literatur zählt nicht zu den etablierten Lehr- und Forschungsgebieten der Sportwissenschaft. Das Verhältnis zwischen Sport und Literatur galt hierzulande lange Zeit als angespannt, oft war von "zwei feindlichen Brüdern" die Rede. In diesem Essay werden in acht Anmerkungen Verbindungen zwischen Sport und Literatur hergestellt und jeweils knapp erläutert. Sie stellen Antwortversuche zu der Frage dar, inwiefern sich Sport und Literatur derzeit im Aufwind befinden. Belegt wird diese These insbesondere mit dem vermehrten Aufkommen laufliterarischer Produktionsformen. Der Beitrag will das vielbeachtete Bild von der Versportlichung der Gesellschaft auf das Thema Sport und Literatur übertragen: Es ergeben sich demnach vermehrt Anzeichen für eine Art Versportlichung der Literatur. Abstract

The topic of Sport and Literature does not number among the established theoretical and research areas of sports science. In Germany, the relationship between sport and literature was considered as strained for a long time and frequently sport and literature were even called "two hostile brothers". In this essay, connections between sport and literature are established in the form of eight remarks, each remark being shortly exemplified. These remarks are attempts at giving an answer to the question to which extent sport and literature are currently on the upsurge. This thesis is particularly backed up by pointing to the publication of more and more forms of running literature. This article wants to transfer the popular image of the "sportification" of society to the topic of sport and literature. From this point of view, there are increasingly more signs of a kind of "sportification" of literature. Verf.-Referat
